Last week, Florida State sophomore pitcher Tyler Holton was named a second-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball. This week, he garnered more All-American recognition.

Baseball America has named Holton a third-team All-American. The publication’s All-American team was unveiled on Thursday.

Holton has been nothing short of dominant this season, posting a 10-2 record with a stellar 2.22 ERA. Opponents are hitting just .166 against the left-hander and Holton has managed to strike out 132 batters in 105 1/3 innings.

Holton will get the ball for the Seminoles on Saturday as they open the Tallahassee Regional against Sam Houston State. Holton has thrown a complete game in each of his last two starts at Dick Howser Stadium and has went at least eight innings in each of his last four starts.
