Only two works days remain until the weekend, Florida State fans. That of course, is when FSU will take on Notre Dame in men’s basketball. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.
Lead Story
Florida State had just one representative on the All-ACC Academic team, which was released Wednesday. That representative was offensive lineman Landon Dickerson.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during their undergraduate and/or graduate academic career, according to a release from Florida State. A North Carolina native, Dickerson made a big impact on the field as a freshman last season, starting seven games at guard before a knee injury ended his season.
Dickerson is expected to be recovered sometime between May and July. The 6-5, 310-pound standout is likely to maintain a starting spot along the FSU offensive front. The question will be whether that’s again at guard or whether he moves to tackle.

Florida State’s men’s basketball team notched its third straight win on Wednesday night, topping N.C. State, 95-71.
On the Agenda
The FSU women will be in action on Thursday night as they host Wake Forest at 7 p.m. EST. The contest airs on ACC Network Extra.

FSU guard Dwayne Bacon made the late season Wooden Award top 20.
FSU volleyball players Katie Horton, Melanie Keil, Hailey Luke and Milica Kubura have all been named to the ACC All-Academic team.
FSU’s spring football game will start at 3 p.m. EST on April 8. Admission is $5.
Four FSU cross country athletes earned ACC All-Academic honors.
