First, Dalvin Cook. Then, Roderick Johnson. Now, Travis Rudolph.

On Thursday, Rudolph announced that he would forego his senior season at Florida State and enter the 2017 NFL Draft, which will be held in Philadelphia from April 27-29. The news was first reported by Tony Pauline of draftanalyst.com. This past season, Rudolph led the Seminoles with 56 catches for 840 yards and seven touchdowns.

For his career, Rudolph finishes with 2,311 career receiving yards, but would have needed a monster year in 2017 to surpass Rashad Greene as the school’s all-time leading receiver. Rudolph is a good route-runner and downfield blocker, but did struggle a bit with drops as a junior.

Rudolph told reporters following FSU’s 33-32 win over Michigan in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 30 that he was leaning toward a return, but has since changed his mind. Rudolph is projected to go no higher than the third round of the draft.
