Poll Movement for FSU Baseball (May 9)

Florida State is coming off of a 3-1 week. The Seminoles dropped the series finale to Clemson last Monday, but bounced back by sweeping Bowling Green at home over the weekend. Here’s what was reflected in the polls:

In the D1Baseball.com Poll, the Seminoles held firm at No. 5. In the Collegiate Baseball Poll, FSU remained fourth. That was also the poll that had FSU ranked highest last week.

In the Baseball America Poll, FSU dropped two spots, falling fifth to seventh. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, FSU moved two spots, but in the opposite direction. The Seminoles are sixth this week after falling to No. 8 last week.

In the NCBWA Poll, FSU climbed a spot from seventh to sixth.

Florida State will play five games this week. The Noles will visit Jacksonville on Tuesday before hosting Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday. FSU then visits Durham on Friday to begin a 3-game set with Duke.
