It’s Sunday, Florida State fans. As your weekend wraps up, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State’s 101-90 double-overtime victory over Syracuse on Saturday didn’t come easy, but making it more impressive was the fact that it was done without its leading scorer and rebounder.

Junior guard Terance Mann was in concussion protocol and did not play in the victory. Mann is averaging 15.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and shooting a team-high 62 percent from the field.

In Mann’s absence, Braian Angola led FSU with 24 points while Chris Koumadje added 23. FSU will have a short turnaround as it will visit Boston College on Monday. Mann’s status is uncertain.

Between the Lines

In addition to FSU’s basketball victory, FSU men’s tennis competed in the Florida State Spring Invitational on Saturday. The women played matches against Hawaii and Utah in Honolulu.

On the Agenda

FSU’s men’s and women’s tennis teams will continue their respective tournaments on Sunday. FSU women’s basketball will host Virginia Tech at 2:30 p.m. EST on Fox Sports Florida.

News and Notes

Monday is the final day for college players to declare for the NFL Draft.

With the addition of 4-star tight end Camren McDonald, FSU moved from 34th to 27th, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
