The Daily Nole — Feb. 9, 2018: All FSU Baseball Games to be Broadcast

It’s Friday, Florida State fans. As your weekend nears, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. We’ll update the news and notes section of this post throughout the day.

Lead Story

After a College World Series appearance in 2017, it won’t be hard to see Florida State baseball in 2018.

All 56 of FSU’s regular season games will be broadcast, but most will be streams. In fact, 53 of the 56 games will be streamed either on ACC Network Extra, ESPN3 or SEC Network+.

FSU’s contest against rival and reigning national champion Florida in Jacksonville on March 27 will be shown on SEC Network. FSU’s Fenway Park showdown with Boston College on April 21 and its trip to Clemson on May 7 will each air on ESPNU.

Between the Lines

FSU women’s tennis completed the second day of the National Team Indoors on Thursday. FSU women’s basketball defeated Virginia, 77-62.

On the Agenda

FSU women’s tennis continues the National Team Indoors on Friday. FSU softball opens the season against Portland State at 2:30 p.m. EST and Texas State at 5 p.m. Both contests air on Texas State All-Access. FSU women’s golf begins the Florida State Match-Up. FSU track and field will be at Washington and in Boston for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

FSU basketball is currently listed as a No. 8 seed by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.
