It was another tough week for Florida State as the Seminoles went just 1-2 in three games. FSU dropped the first two of a weekend set against Miami, but avoided the sweep on Jackson Lueck’s walk-off home run in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday. As result of another disappointing week, the Seminoles paid the price in the polls.

In the Baseball America Poll, FSU fell four spots from 14th to 18th. The Seminoles fell seven spots in the D1Baseball Poll to No. 16. Florida State was ninth in the poll last week.

In the USA Today Coaches Poll, FSU fell just one spot. The Seminoles rank 13th after finding themselves at No. 12 last week. In the Collegiate Baseball Poll, Florida State fell three spots from eighth to No. 11.

Florida State fell four spots in the NCBWA Poll from 11th to 15th.

The Seminoles open the ACC Tournament in Durham on Wednesday against N.C. State. FSU will face either Georgia Tech or Boston College on Thursday and will close pool play against top-seeded Miami on Saturday. The ACC Championship is scheduled for noon EST on Sunday.
