Offseason attrition is a part of college football and according to a report from NoleGameday from Tuesday, Florida State linebacker Zaquandre White will be taking his talents elsewhere.

According to the report, White is expected to land at Iowa Western, a junior college. Nole Gameday had reported earlier in the month that White had been suspended for academic issues and has been absent from team activities.

Originally a 4-star running back prospect out of Fort Myers, White converted to linebacker as a redshirt freshman last season and recorded 22 tackles. White also had one kickoff return, which went for 20 yards.

White was a young talent with a lot of potential, but FSU is still set to have 10 scholarship players at the linebacker position when incoming freshmen are included. There were previous reports that Adonis Thomas had consider transferring for his redshirt senior season.
