FSU Hoops Falls Out of Top 10

A 1-1 week that culminated in a 65-52 loss at Virginia in a contest that was probably not as close as the final score would suggest had consequences for Florida State in this week’s polls.

After ascending to No. 9 in both polls, FSU fell four spots in the AP Poll to No. 13. FSU is among six ACC teams ranked in the polls.

Prior to Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers, the Seminoles defeated Winthrop, 87-76. Things don’t get much easier this week as FSU hosts Miami and No. 1 Duke.

FSU also fell four spots to No. 13 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
