FSU Hoops Vaults Into Top 10

Seeing a top-10 Florida State team hasn’t been uncommon over the last 30-plus years, but usually, it’s not in basketball.

The Seminoles climbed one spot in this week’s AP Poll from No. 11 to No. 10. It is FSU’s highest ranking of the season and highest since ascending to No. 6 in January 2017.

FSU is coming off wins over Troy and Connecticut this week to improve to 8-1 on the season. The Seminoles won’t play a game this week.

In the USA Today Coaches Poll last week, FSU also moved to up No. 10. The Seminoles were 11th in the poll last week.
