After appearing in bowl projections for four national publications last week, that number is down to one for Florida State.

The Seminoles fell to 4-4 on Saturday with a thrashing at the hand of Clemson, 59-10. FSU will need to win two of its final four games to become bowl-eligible and all four come against teams ranked in the initial College Football Playoff poll.

Here’s a look at where the Seminoles stand in this week’s slate of bowl projections:

Bowl Projections
Athlon Sports, Oct. 29: No bowl.

ESPN, Oct. 28: No bowl.

USA TODAY, Oct. 30: Quick Lane Bowl vs. Purdue (Dec. 26)

CBS Sports, Oct. 29: No bowl.

Bleacher Report, Oct. 30: No bowl.

SB Nation, Oct. 30: No bowl.

Sporting News, Oct. 30: No bowl

Sports Illustrated, Oct. 28: No bowl.

Summary
USA TODAY is the lone national publication surveyed that still has FSU going bowling. That publication puts Florida State in Detroit to face Purdue in the Quick Lane Bowl.

The Seminoles and Boilermakers have never met on the gridiron. FSU hasn’t played a game in the state of Michigan since beating Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1991 by a 51-31 score.
