Seminoles Drop in Polls After Loss

A first loss of the season was not enough to drop Florida State completely out of the polls.

FSU fell to No. 24 in the AP Poll and 25th in the USA Today Coaches Poll on Monday following a heartbreaking 71-70 loss to Oklahoma State in the Orange Bowl Classic on Saturday. Mitchell Solomon tipped in the game-winner with less than six seconds remaining.

The Seminoles were No. 19 in both polls last week after being unranked previously.

FSU will be in action twice at home this week. The Seminoles will host Charleston Southern on Monday and Southern Mississippi on Thursday night.
