Florida State’s 2018 class has its first inside linebacker.

On Tuesday night, 3-star Rosendo Louis announced his commitment to the Seminoles, picking FSU over the likes of South Carolina, Miami and Oklahoma among other big names. Louis is the first inside linebacker commit for FSU and second linebacker overall joining Tallahassee’s Amari Gainer.

A 6-1, 225-pound prospect out of Deerfield Beach, Louis is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 454 overall prospect for 2018, the 21st best inside linebacker and the No. 74 overall player from Florida. He is the 18th member of FSU’s 2018 class.

Entering the day, Florida State had the 10th overall class for 2018, according to the Composite. The addition of Louis isn’t enough to move the Seminoles, but puts them just percentage points behind Oklahoma.
