Former Florida State catcher Buster Posey is set to catch the first pitch at the 2017 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Miami on July 11.

Posey, a member of the San Francisco Giants, was named an All-Star Game starter when the rosters were unveiled Sunday evening. It will be Posey’s fifth All-Star appearance and fourth start in eight big league seasons. Posey’s .339 batting average this season leads all of baseball to go with 10 home runs and 35 RBIs.
