Florida State landed a second blue-chip offensive lineman for 2018 on Sunday as a 4-star Georgia tackle pledged his services.

Christian Armstrong, a 6-5, 335-pound standout from Warner Robbins, made it official. Armstrong was considered a heavy FSU lean, picking the Seminoles over Penn State, Georgia and Tennessee among others.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Armstrong is the No. 337 overall prospect for 2018 and the No. 27 player at his tackle position. He’s the 36th best player from the state of Georgia.

The addition of Armstrong gives the Seminoles two offensive lineman for 2018. The other is guard Christian Meadows who is also a Georgia prospect.

Armstrong is the 13th member of FSU’s 2018 class and the third from Georgia. Entering the day, the Seminoles’ recruiting class for 2018 ranked 12th nationally and third in the ACC. The addition of Armstrong brings FSU’s class up to No. 8 in the country.
