If three is a crowd, that’s what Florida State has at defensive end for 2018.

On Friday, Patrick Joyner pledged his services to FSU, as reported by Chris Nee of Noles247. Joyner is a 3-star prospect from South Dade High School in Homestead and the No. 925 overall recruit for 2018, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Joyner, a 6-3, 210-pound prospect, is the No. 143 player in the state and the 46th best weakside end in the country. He joins 4-star Stacy Kirby, a weakside end from Orlando, and fellow South Floridian and 3-star Kayode Oladele, a strongside end as defensive ends to commit to FSU for 2018.

Overall, Joyner is the eighth member of the class. For 2018, the Seminoles’ class currently ranks fifth nationally and second in the ACC behind rival Miami. FSU jumped two spots with the addition of Joyner.
