Florida State entered Saturday having no defensive ends committed for 2018. It now has two.

After receiving the commitment of Kayode Oladele, the Seminoles got a pledge from 4-star Stacy Kirby less than an hour later, per multiple reports.

Kirby, who plays at Jones High School in Orlando, is the No. 231 overall prospect for 2018, according to the 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He’s also the 11th best weakside defensive end in the class and the 42nd best player from Florida.

The 6-3, 248-pound Kirby becomes the eighth commitment for an FSU class that currently ranks fifth nationally. The Seminoles also have the second-best class in the ACC, behind only rival Miami.
