Florida State will start the year ranked fourth in the National College Baseball Writers Association Poll, which was released Tuesday.

The Seminoles, who finished 41-22 and one game shy of the College World Series last year, were the top ranked ACC team. Topping the poll was TCU, followed by Florida, LSU, FSU and South Carolina.

NCBWA also named FSU infielders Dylan Busby and Taylor Walls first-team preseason All-Americans. Outfielder Jackson Lueck and catcher Cal Raleigh each made the third team.

The No. 4 national ranking for Florida State is close to where the Seminoles were ranked by other publications. FSU will start second in the Baseball America Poll, third in D1Baseball’s poll and ninth in the Collegiate Baseball Poll.

FSU opens the 2017 season with a 3-game series against Virginia Commonwealth, beginning on Feb. 17.
