Jonathan Isaac has been a man possessed lately for Florida State with three straight double-doubles. As a result, the 6-10 freshman was honored by the ACC on Monday.

Isaac has been named ACC Freshman of the Week for his performances in victories over Notre Dame and Louisville. Over the two games, Isaac has averaged 19.5 points, 10 rebounds and 4.5 blocks. He’s done so while shooting 11-for-16 from the floor, 3-for-4 from beyond the 3-point arc and a perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line.

Wake Forest forward John Collins was named the ACC Player of the Week.

Following the recent hot streak, Isaac now ranks in the top 10 in the ACC in three different categories. For the year, Isaac is averaging 13.3 points on 54 percent shooting and team-highs of 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

Isaac and the No. 6 Seminoles will look to stay hot after a 6-1 start in ACC play with two road games this week. FSU will visit Georgia Tech on Wednesday and then Syracuse on Saturday.
