Florida State remains in the mix for a 4-star wide receiver from the class of 2017, according to SB Nation Michigan site, Maize n Brew.

Nico Collins, a 6-5, 195-pound receiver out of Clay-Chalkville High School in Pinson, Alabama, listed the Seminoles in his top 5 on Monday night. Joining FSU for his services were Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Michigan.

Collins is listed as the No. 76 overall player for 2017, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings and the No. 13 player at the position. He’s also the top recruit out of the state of Alabama.

According to 247Sports, Collins finished with more than 1,100 yards receiving last year and 16 touchdowns.

The Seminoles do already have one wide receiver committed for 2017 and that’s 4-star Jacksonville prospect D.J. Matthews. FSU currently has the No. 9 overall class for 2017 and the top class in the ACC.
