Clemson scored the game’s final six runs on Monday to best Florida State 7-3 and take the 3-game series.

Pat Krall worked seven innings of scoreless relief for the Tigers while the Clemson offense added some much needed insurance with three runs in the bottom of the 8th. With the loss, FSU falls to 29-13 and 14-6 in ACC play. The Seminoles will visit Stetson on Wednesday night.

The Good: Pat Krall was downright fantastic for Clemson, allowing just three hits and a walk in his seven innings. Offensively, the Tigers pounded out 12 hits.

The Bad: Though the Seminoles left just six men on base on Monday, FSU was dreadful with runners in scoring position, going just 1-for-8. Clemson left 12 men on base.

The Ugly: A series that started with shoddy defense ended that way for Florida State. FSU committed a pair of errors, allowing for two unearned Clemson runs.

Studs of the Game:
Krall stole the show for Clemson, but at the plate, Seth Beer finished 2-for-3 with a run and three RBIs. Weston Wilson was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in the win. Quincy Nieporte was 3-for-4 with a run scored for FSU.

Duds of the Game: FSU closer Tyler Warmoth let the contest get out of hand by allowing three runs in the eighth inning. Nick Graganella got the start in left field for FSU, but went 0-for-4 at the plate with two strikeouts. First baseman Andrew Cox was 0-for-4 for the Tigers.
