FSU defeated Florida on Wednesday night in Tallahassee, 4-1, behind a complete-game 2-hitter from pitcher Kylee Hanson. Carsyn Gordon got the scoring started for the Seminoles with a solo home run in the first before Florida answered with an RBI double from Kayli Kvistad in the third inning.

FSU went ahead for good on an RBI single from Zoe Casas in the fourth before adding two runs in the fifth on an RBI triple from Cali Harrod and an RBI groundout from Gordon. Hanson picked up the win to improve to 20-3.

For the year, the Seminoles moved to 34-7. Up next is a 3-game series at Boston College, beginning on Friday.
