FSU Hoops Falls Out of AP Poll Following Blowout Loss

Florida State’s return to the Associated Press Poll was a brief one.

After moving up to No. 25 last week, the Seminoles fell from the poll following a 92-72 loss at N.C. State on Sunday night. Florida State was not previously ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

For the season, FSU finds itself at 19-9 overall and an even 8-8 in ACC play. The Seminoles wrap up the regular season with a road game at No. 18 Clemson on Wednesday night and a home contest with Boston College on Saturday.

FSU rallied from 18 points down to beat Clemson at home in overtime earlier this month, 81-79. Boston College topped the Seminoles in Chestnut Hill on Jan. 15 by an 81-75 score.
