The Daily Nole — Sept. 15, 2017: FSU Women’s Hoops ACC Slate Unveiled

It’s Friday, Florida State fans. As the weekend nears, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

Florida State’s women’s basketball’s ACC slate was unveiled on Thursday and the Seminoles now know what the conference schedule will look like.

The ACC schedule opens at home on New Year’s Eve against North Carolina and concludes with a Senior Day tilt against Georgia Tech. Other key ACC contests include against Miami on Jan. 11 and at Miami on Feb. 11, at Louisville on Jan. 21 and versus Notre Dame on Jan. 28.

The Seminoles will also see an uptick in televised contests. In addition to ACC Network Extra, FSU will play four times on either Fox Sports Florida or Sun Sports, once on the Big Ten Network, once on Fox Sports 1 and four times on ESPN2. To view the full schedule, click here.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Thursday.

On the Agenda

FSU cross country will participate in the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational on Friday. FSU men’s golf will begin the Olympia Fields Invitational.
