Florida State junior third baseman Dylan Busby has been on a tear lately and the ACC has noticed.

On Monday, Busby was named the ACC’s Player of the Week after going 8-for-18 in four games this week with three home runs and 10 RBIs. Though the streak ended on Saturday night, Busby became the first player in FSU history to have at least three RBIs in five straight games.

During his recent tear, Busby has raised his average by 35 points and at .305, is one of only two Seminoles hitting above .300 this year. Busby is now tied for the team-lead with eight homers and ranks second behind only Quincy Nieporte with 40 RBIs.

Busby came on strong late last season, which led to him participating in the State Farm Home Run Derby and earning All-American hype this preseason. The junior now seems to be living up to it after a very slow start to 2017.

Florida State will play four games this coming week, beginning at Stetson on Tuesday. FSU then hosts Virginia for three games, beginning on Friday.
