The season ended in disappointing fashion for Florida State baseball, but the Seminoles will finish ranked for the 34th year in a row.

FSU will finish as No. 20 in the Baseball America Poll after ending the ACC Tournament ranked No. 5. It’s the lowest finish for the Seminoles in the poll since 2006.

Previously No. 6, the Seminoles also fell 15 spots in the final D1Baseball.com Poll. Florida State finishes the year ranked 21st.

Florida State finished the season with a record 43-19. After winning a third ACC title in four years, the Seminoles went 0-2 in the Tallahassee Regional, falling in 1-run games to Samford and Mississippi State. Mississippi State used a 3-run walk-off home run to end FSU’s season on June 2.

The Seminoles were unranked in the final Collegiate Baseball Poll. FSU finished 22nd in the NCBWA Poll.
