FSU Falls in AP Poll, Unchanged in Coaches

A record-setting week for Florida State unfortunately resulted in a slight drop in the latest AP Poll.

In this week’s AP Poll, FSU dropped two spots to No. 18.

FSU set a new school-record by winning its eighth straight game last Tuesday with a 77-64 win at Clemson. Unfortunately, that streak would end with a 77-59 loss at North Carolina on Saturday. The Tar Heels climbed to No. 5 in both polls this week.

The Seminoles saw no change in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll as it remained firm at No. 17.

Florida State will begin a 3-game homestand on Monday against Notre Dame. The Seminoles will host NC State on Saturday.
