Undefeated FSU Hangs Near Top of Polls

Florida State has yet to suffer its first setback of 2018 and the polls continue to reflect a high national ranking.

The Seminoles remained at No. 3 in the Baseball America Poll behind rival Florida and Oregon State. FSU is one of three undefeated teams in the top 5, along with the Beavers and Texas Tech.

Florida, Oregon State and Texas Tech were all ranked above FSU in the D1Baseball.com Poll as FSU remained fourth. The Seminoles also stayed put at No. 3 in the Collegiate Baseball Poll, behind Oregon State and Florida. FSU remained No. 4 in the NCBWA Poll.

Florida State is coming off a 4-0 week. After a midweek shutout of Jacksonville, the Seminoles completed a 3-game sweep of UNC-Asheville over the weekend.

This week looks to be a busy one for FSU as it takes on Kansas on Monday and Tuesday before beginning a 3-game series with Wake Forest on Friday. The series in Winston-Salem will open ACC play.
