FSU Falls Out of Top 25

Florida State had managed to stay in the polls after losses in each of the previous two weeks, but the Seminoles were not so lucky this time around.

After coming in at No. 23 last week, FSU was nowhere to be found in this week’s AP Poll. FSU was unranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll last week, which has yet to be released this week.

Last week, FSU let a 17-point lead slip away in a 73-69 loss to Louisville on Wednesday. The Seminoles looked to be on the verge of letting another double-digit second-half lead evaporate on Saturday, but rallied for a 101-90 win over Syracuse in double-overtime.

After playing a pair of home games, FSU hits the road this week to take on Boston College on Monday night and then Virginia Tech on Saturday. The Seminoles are 0-2 thus far away from home in ACC play.
