What has been a disappointing season for Florida State reflected as much in the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association All-ACC teams, which were compiled by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association and the conference’s coaches and unveiled on Monday.

Redshirt sophomore safety Derwin James was the lone FSU player to make the conference’s first team. For the season, James has 72 tackles, including five for loss, one sack, 12 passes defended, two interceptions and one touchdown.

Center Alec Eberle and cornerback Tarvarus McFadden were each named to the All-ACC second team. Eberle, a redshirt junior, has made 30 straight starts at center for the Seminoles. For the year, McFadden has 27 tackles and seven pass break-ups to go with one touchdown.

Running back Cam Akers and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi were named to the conference’s third team. Akers is FSU’s leading rusher with 813 yards and five touchdowns. The senior Nnadi has 48 tackles, including nine for loss and 3.5 sacks.

Kicker Ricky Aguayo was named honorable mention.

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner and Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson was named the ACC Player of the Year. N.C. State defensive end Bradley Chubb was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Boston College running back A.J. Dillon was named the ACC Rookie of the Year.
