FSU’s Ricky Aguayo Earns ACC Specialist of the Week

Florida State’s first win of the season — a 26-19 victory at previously undefeated Wake Forest on Saturday — came with an individual accolades a well.

Kicker Ricky Aguayo was named the ACC Specialist of the Week after going 4-for-4 on field goal attempts on Saturday. Aguayo hit a career-long 51-yard field goal in the win, but perhaps the bigger kick was the one that drew the Seminoles even with just more than six minutes to play.

It marked the second week in a row that Aguayo made four field goals. For the season, Aguayo is now 8-for-10 on field goal attempts and 4-for-4 on PATs.

Aguayo will look for another big week as FSU returns home to take on No. 13 Miami on Saturday.
