The 2016 All-ACC Coaches teams and award winners were released Thursday afternoon, with eight different Florida State football players getting selected.

FSU running back Dalvin Cook received two votes for both Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year, but lost to Lamar Jackson in both categories. He was still selected to the first team All-ACC offense. Joining him was offensive tackle Roderick Johnson, who received the most votes of any offensive lineman chosen. Second Team All-ACC Offense included wide receiver Travis Rudolph and guard Kareem Are.

Quarterback Deondre Francois received both the Rookie of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year awards. Francois beat out Clemson defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence in the former category, and Miami wide receiver Ahmmon Richards in the latter. Francois finished his freshman season with 3,317 total yards and 22 total touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, senior defensive end DeMarcus Walker was voted as Co-Defensive Player of the Year along with Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware. He was also named to the first team All-ACC defense, along with defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and cornerback Tarvarus McFadden.

Four other Seminoles were included in the honorable mention category. Kicker Ricky Aguayo was the lone selection on the offense. Linebacker Matthew Thomas, linebacker Jacob Pugh, and safety Trey Marshall were the defensive mentions.
