    Just an FYI

We are moving to a forum software that is integrated into wordpress that software that drives our articles and front page.

What this means to you… It will look a little different and it will feel a little different. But it will elminate we hope some of the database issues we have had recently. When we cut over the forum url will be different but the forum link at the top fo the website on the home page will get you there. http://www.Thedailynole.com

This cut over will likely happen in the next few days….

    Thanks
    Edwin

This forum layout hurts my eyes. Not visually friendly at all. Don’t mean to complain, just give feedback

Needs a back to the Forum button at the bottom of a thread page.

FWIW, this page highly inferior to the old one from a users perspective. Hard to read, not as many options, etc. Not sure what was wrong with the old one, which, by the way, is still accessible.

Please keep providing feedback. A lot of the issues can be fixed. Jeep just needs a little time. The old site had technical issues and wasn’t going to be viable long term.

Like MJ said, don’t mean to complain but it’s not user-friendly from a phone. Too much scrolling.

Very difficult to tell what I’m looking at, much less follow a thread conversation.

A lot of the problems could probably be fixed by adding different colors to make it easier to track. It seems to me that the reason the site is hard to follow is because everything is white, and it starts to all blend in together. I’m sure there are some options Jeep could use to make things more palatable to the eye.

    Agreed. The colors suck! 🙂

Mj We wouldn’t expect you to like the colors… 🙂

Everything else we are working and we are also looking a complete different theme that would be more visually appealing to make it easier to read.

We were having a lot of database crashes with the old software. Give me a little time and I will get this one working correctly.

Someone emailed and told me the articles were not being sorted properly IE the newest were not on top. I believe I have that corrected let me know if not.

That sorting issue appears to have been corrected.

Also, it doesn’t differentiate between threads that I’ve just read from older threads with new posts in them.

No emoticons? We need winkage. :<)
