After a historic season, Florida State cross country’s Adriaan Wildschutt will take home one more honor.

On Tuesday, the standout was named ACC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Year by the conference’s coaches. During the season, Wildschutt became just the second FSU runner to win the individual ACC title.

Wildschutt picked up a school record-tying five total wins this season and also earned a second straight USTFCCA Men’s South Region XC Athlete of the Year honor. Wildschutt finished in the top 10 at the NCAA Championships for the second straight year, placing sixth. He’s the only male runner ever to take home ACC Runner of the Year at FSU.

FSU offensive lineman Dillan Gibbons is one of six members of the 2021 Uplifting Athletes Rare Disease Champion team.

FSU football defensive lineman Tru Thompson and linebacker Jayion McCluster have entered the transfer portal.
