Lead Story

Entering the second week of September, Florida State hoops did not have a single commitment for 2022. Now, it has four.

The latest came on Monday in the former of guard Jeremiah Bembry. A 6-foot-6 point guard, Bembry is not currently ranked by the 247Sports Composite rankings.

He did however, hold offers from Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, LSU, Oregon State and Temple among others. Because Bembry is unranked, FSU’s standing does not change in the Composite. The Seminoles’ 2022 class remains ranked 36th nationally and ninth in the ACC.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.

News and Notes

FSU football’s home contest with NC State was given the 6-day option by the ACC. That means a game time and network will be set by Sunday.

FSU defensive end Jermaine Johnson was named the ACC Network’s Midseason Defensive Player of the Year.
