As your week chugs along, check out our daily rundown.

Lead Story

Fresh off its first road win of the season, three Florida State players earned weekly honors from the ACC.

Guard Dillan Gibbons was named the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week while Jermaine Johnson was named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week. Wide receiver Malik McClain was named ACC Rookie of the Week.

Gibbons was part of an offensive line that allowed just two tackles for loss and averaged nearly six yards per rush in a 35-25 win over North Carolina. Johnson recorded six tackles and the game’s only sack in the win. McClain caught his first career touchdown in the victory.

Those three will get a much-deserved break this week as FSU is idle. The Seminoles return to action on Oct. 23 for homecoming against Massachusetts.
