Florida State head coach Mike Norvell has yet to name a starting quarterback for Sunday’s opener against Notre Dame and isn’t tipping his hand.

The depth chart for Week 1 was released on Monday and Jordan Travis and McKenzie Milton are listed as co-starters. Travis started the majority of the games for FSU last season and finished with 13 total touchdowns while setting an FSU record for rushing yards by a quarterback in a season. Milton, a UCF transfer, hasn’t played since 2018, but has nearly 10,000 career yards passing and 92 total touchdowns.

The only other co-starters were listed came on defense and special teams. At nose tackle, Fabian Lovett and Robert Cooper share that designation. Jarrian Jones and Travis Jay do likewise at cornerback.

James Rosenberry Jr. and Garrett Murphy are listed as co-starters at long snapper. Jay and Corey Wren are slated as co-kick returners alongside Ja’Khi Douglas.

FSU cross country is currently ranked No. 2 in the South Region by the USTFCCCA. National rankings will be released on Tuesday.

FSU football is currently listed as a 7.5-point underdog vs. Notre Dame.

Former FSU defensive end Josh Griffis is headed to Garden City Community College.
