While the SEC appears to be expanding, three other Power 5 conferences are coming together.

Commissioners from the ACC, Big Ten and Pac-12 came together to announce an alliance on Tuesday. The stated goal was to “stabilize a volatile environment” through collaboration regarding major issues affecting college athletics.

According to reports, the alliance does not have a contractual agreement. The alliance will include a future scheduling partnership for major sports such as football and men’s and women’s basketball.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.
