After briefly falling behind Clemson, Florida State football again owns the top current recruiting class in the ACC for 2022.

The Seminoles made a big splash this week with the addition of 4-star offensive lineman Jaylen Early. A 6-foot-4, 320-pound prospect from Duncanville, Early chose FSU over the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Georgia among others.

The No. 199 prospect in the nation, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings, Early becomes the sixth offensive lineman to commit to FSU this cycle. He’s the fourth-highest ranked member of the class.

The addition gives the Seminoles 18 current commitments and the No. 8 overall class for 2022, per the Composite. FSU is currently one spot higher than Clemson overall.
