Florida State football has its first quarterback commitment for 2023.

That came on Thursday in the form of Tennessee’s Chris Parson. A native of Brentwood, Parson is listed by the 247Sports Composite rankings as the No. 288 overall prospect for 2023 and 19th-best quarterback.

Parson is listed at 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds. He becomes the class’ fifth commitment. The Seminoles’ 2023 class currently ranks sixth nationally and second in the ACC, per the Composite.
