It’s the weekend, Florida State fans.

As you get set to begin a relaxing Saturday, check out our daily rundown.

Lead Story

Florida State basketball will lose at least three players early to the NBA Draft, but on Friday, the Seminoles got a big addition.

Former Kentucky forward Cam’Ron Fletcher announced that he would be joining FSU for the 2021-22 season. Fletcher averaged just 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in nine games for the Wildcats last season.

Despite the pedestrian numbers, Fletcher is a big-time athlete with a lot of potential. A 4-star prospect, he was ranked the No. 71 overall player for the 2020 class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Fletcher is the second transfer that will join FSU next season. Former Houston guard Caleb Mills announced his intentions to transfer to FSU in January.
