The Daily Nole — April 7, 2021: FSU Hoops Finishes in Top 10

For the second straight year, Florida State men’s basketball finishes in the top 10 of the Amway Coaches Poll.

The Seminoles finished No. 10 in the final poll released on Tuesday. FSU finished 18-7 and reached the Sweet 16 for a third straight NCAA Tournament.

FSU also finished as the ACC’s highest ranked team in the final poll. No team in the conference advanced further in the NCAA Tournament.

Last season, FSU finished No. 5 in the final Coaches Poll. It has finished ranked in each of the last five seasons.

Between the Lines

FSU baseball fell to Jacksonville on Tuesday night, 8-7. FSU men’s golf finished third at the Calusa Cup, but John Pak did take the individual title. The FSU women began the LSU Invitational in Baton Rouge.

On the Agenda

FSU women’s golf will wrap up the LSU Invitational on Wednesday.

News and Notes

With his victory at the Calusa Cup, FSU golfer John Pak has tied a school record for individual wins.

FSU cross country will host three tournaments in 2021.
