When it comes to college golf, Florida State is No. 1 in the land — on both the men and women’s side.

The FSU women remained No. 1 in the latest Golfweek/Sargarin rankings. The Seminoles are coming off a 37-stroke victory at the Florida State Match-Up. FSU’s Beatrice Wallin took the individual title during the Tallahassee tournament.

The FSU men remained No. 3 in the Golfweek/Sargarin rankings, but are now No. 1, according to Golfstat, narrowly ahead of Oklahoma. In four tournaments this season, the FSU men have two victories and a second-place finish.

Golf action for FSU resumes on Saturday as the women partake in the Valspar Augusta Invitational in Georgia. The men hit the links on Monday to begin The Floridian in Stuart, Fla.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.

On the Agenda

FSU men’s hoops will take on Duke in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals on Thursday night. The contest begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and airs on ESPN. FSU softball hosts Arizona in a contest that begins at 6 p.m. ET and streams on ACC Network Extra.

News and Notes

FSU cross country’s Adriaan Wildschutt was named ACC Performer of the Week.

After earning national honors, FSU beach volleyball’s Keara Rutz and Torrey Van Winden were named CCSA Pair of the Week.

FSU hoops is currently a 3.5-point favorite over Duke.
