It’s Thursday, Florida State fans.

As your week heads downhill, check out our daily rundown.

Lead Story

One win is now all that separates Florida State men’s basketball from a second straight ACC regular season title. The 11th-ranked Seminoles inched closer on Wednesday night with a 93-64 thrashing of Boston College on Senior Night.

It was domination from the virtual start as FSU shot 56% from the field and 13-for-27 from deep. M.J. Walker, a senior, led FSU with 18 points while shooting 6-for-9 from deep. RaiQuan Gray made all seven of his field goal attempts to finish with 16 points. Anthony Polite added 13 in the victory.

12 of the 22 made field goals for Boston College came from beyond the arc. Jay Heath made eight 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 28 points in the loss.

Now 15-4 overall and 11-3 in conference play, FSU will go for the ACC regular season crown on Saturday when it visits Notre Dame. That contest begins at 12 p.m. ET and airs on ESPN2.

Between the Lines

In addition to FSU’s basketball victory, FSU men’s golf finished second at the Cabo TPC San Antonio.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Thursday.
