Florida State football currently has the top class in the ACC for 2022 and 2023. On Thursday, the Seminoles picked up their first commitment for 2024.

Athlete Kameron Davis pledged his services to FSU. A native of Albany, Ga., David already holds offers from Maryland, Tennessee and Ole Miss among others.

Davis is not yet ranked by the 247Sports Composite. He is listed at 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds.

Between the Lines

FSU women’s hoops was defeated at Notre Dame on Thursday night, 72-64. Florida State track and field began the ACC Championships. FSU swimming and diving continued the ACC Championships.

On the Agenda

FSU track and field and FSU swimming and diving will each continue the ACC Championships on Friday. FSU baseball begins ACC play against Pittsburgh at 6 p.m. ET in a contest that streams on ACC Network Extra. Florida State men’s tennis will host a doubleheader against Tennessee Tech while the FSU women host NC State. FSU volleyball hosts UCF and Troy. FSU softball kicks off the Unconquered Invitational against Florida Gulf Coast. That contest begins at 8 p.m. ET and streams on ACC Network. FSU women’s golf will begin the Florida State Match-Up.

News and Notes

FSU beach volleyball will allow no more than 130 spectators at home matches.

FSU beach volleyball’s Alaina Chacon, Madison Fitzpatrick, Molly McBain and Torrey Van Winden were all named preseason All-CCSA.

Florida State women’s tennis is now ranked No. 5 in the ITA Poll.
