Florida State basketball returns to the court on Wednesday night, but other big news came on Tuesday.

Via the transfer portal, FSU landed former Houston guard Caleb Mills. A member of the American Athletic Conference’s All-Freshman team last season, Mills led the Cougars with a team-high 13.2 points per game.

In four games this season, Mills was scoring just under 10 points per contest. A native of North Carolina, Mills was shooting 45% from the field this season before entering the transfer portal.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.

On the Agenda

FSU basketball will host NC State on Wednesday night. The contest begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and will air on ACC Network.

FSU basketball is currently listed as a No. 9 seed by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.

Florida State is listed as a 4-point favorite for Wednesday night’s basketball game against NC State.
