It’s Friday, Florida State fans.

Before you start thinking about the weekend, check out our daily rundown.

Lead Story

A third straight Florida State basketball game will be postponed, following a positive COVID-19 test last week within the program.

Saturday’s visit to Pittsburgh for the Seminoles will have to wait another day. FSU previously called off contests at home against Duke last week and for this past Wednesday at Syracuse.

How long it will be before FSU returns to the court remains to be seen. The Seminoles, ranked No. 25 in the AP Poll, are 5-2 and 1-1 in the ACC. The next scheduled contest is set for Wednesday at home against NC State.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Thursday.

On the Agenda

After a lengthy hiatus, FSU swimming and diving will return to the pool on Friday to take on LSU.

News and Notes

FSU hoops guard Scottie Barnes was named to the midseason John Wooden Award watch list.

Florida State football kicker Parker Grothaus was placed on scholarship after previously walking on.

Former FSU safety LeRoy Butler is among 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
