Things seem to be going from bad to worse for Florida State football.

On Monday, 4-star quarterback Luke Altmyer announced that he was decommitting from the Seminoles. A top-200 prospect and FSU’s highest ranked commitment for the 2021 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Altmyer is a native of Mississippi and ranked as the No. 183 overall prospect.

The decommitment leaves FSU without a quarterback for 2021. FSU falls five spots in the team rankings from No. 28 to No. 33.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.

On the Agenda

Florida State women’s basketball will host Florida on Tuesday night. The contest was originally scheduled to be played last week. It will begin at 6 p.m. ET and stream on ACC Network Extra.

FSU football plans on playing an ACC opponent on Dec. 12.

FSU basketball fell one spot to No. 22 in the AP Poll.
