It’s Monday, Florida State fans.

As you return to work, check out our latest in FSU athletics. Below is our daily rundown:

Lead Story

For the third week in a row, Florida State will not be playing a football game.

Due to COVID-19 cases within the FSU program, Saturday’s contest at Duke has been scrapped. The Blue Devils will instead host Miami.

With the contest now off, there has been speculation that the 2020 season may be over for the Seminoles. They are just 2-6 and had contests scrapped against Clemson, Virginia and now at Duke.

FSU is expected to get a more clear picture of what lies ahead on Monday.

Between the Lines

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Sunday.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.

News and Notes

FSU cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. has opted out of the remainder of the 2020 season and will enter the NFL Draft.
