Florida State women’s hoops will hope for a victory at home against Notre Dame on Sunday to clinch a double-bye in the ACC Tournament.

For the season, FSU is 22-6 overall and 11-6 in the ACC. The Seminoles are coming off an easy 81-54 win over Clemson on Thursday night, but got to double-digit ACC wins a week prior with a 78-67 victory over Wake Forest.

The number of conference games extended this season from 16 to 18 in the ACC. Over the last six seasons however, FSU has won at least 10 ACC games every year.

Louisville and FSU have each won at least 10 games in the ACC in each of the last six seasons. The only team with a longer streak is Syracuse. The Orange however, will need to beat Boston College on Saturday to keep that streak alive.

Prior to the streak for FSU, the Seminoles had won 10 ACC games just five times total as a program. The streak speaks to the consistency of head coach Sue Semrau’s program.

The Seminoles have also won at least 20 games overall in each of the last eight seasons. FSU is a shoo-in to make the NCAA Tournament for an eighth straight season and a 15th time in 16 years. Sunday’s regular season finale against the Fighting Irish tips off at 2 p.m. EST and airs on ACC Network.
